A - Hay colored orange/yellow. Mine hand a foaming 1 finger head that dissipated fairly quickly.

S - Sweet malty smell with subtle citrus notes

T - Again sweet malts, very pleasant orange and mild grapefruit. Light bitterness. Well balanced.

M - Medium/Light. Not overly carbonated but bubbles dance on the tounge.

O - The store I go to (shout out to Syosset Beverage on Long Island). Lets me pick single bottles out of a six pack and basically build my own 6er. I saw this and never saw it before so I picked one up to try. What a pleasant surprise. I will definitely go back and pick up a full 6 pack of this stuff. It's a great spring/summer session brew. It does come off more like a light IPA instead of a Pale Ale. I just started homebrewing and I really appreciate the fact that it is bottle conditioned. When you pour it in a glass you can see the little yeast cake in the bottom of the bottle so if thats not your thing you should be extra careful on the pour.

Overall a very nice beer that I will buy throughout the spring/summer season. Great Job Southern Tier !!! <3

Curious about this one. Pours a nice, thick head. Light colored in my shaker pint glass. smells terrific. Citrus hops. Tastes the same. Big favors, almost an IPA really. This is basically a delicious session able IPA. I'll enjoy many more of these this summer. Dig Southern Tier.

T: great balance, it's your typical pale ale flavor with a little tiny orange cream-sicle thing going on
MF: crisp and a little sweet and creamy

Poured into a glass mug. The beer pours golden with a lasting white head and lots of visible carbonation. The aroma is of citrus and malt. It's a fairly clean smelling beer. The taste follows the nose mostly. I get the citrus, though it's mostly orange as well as some lemon. I also get the light breadiness from the malt. There's some back end biterness that is fairly mild. It's a bit like some bitter orange on the back end. The body is fairly light with strong carbonation. The beer drinks very smoothly due to all the carbonation. This is a good beer.

A - Light golden/slightly orange color, fairly carbonated, slightly cloudy. Nice lacing on the glass.
S - Overwhelming orange, slightly grapefruit aroma. Not crazy overpowering though, very nice, just a little bit of sweetness.
T - Very good, again, mostly orange, slightly grapefruit, not overpowering bitterness, some nice light sweetness for balance. Refreshing, very drinkable, very good flavor, really quite enjoying this beer. Only ding might be that the bitterness is almost leaning towards an IPA, but it isn't overwhelming.
M - Medium-light mouthfeel, could be a bit fuller here. But not really that off.
O - Not overwhelmingly complex, but definitely very flavorful and very drinkable. This will be perfect in the summer, already planning on a six pack. One of STBC's better offerings. Nice job!

A - clear, bright orange with a thick layer of dense, off white head that has good retention

S - big citrusy aroma, oranges and grapefruit, some sweetness

T - faint semi-sweet malt, citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, very mild piney bitter finish

M - clean, crisp, medium bodied

This is a very nice, refreshing APA that has tremendous drinkability. This is a sessionable ale with enough hop character to keep you interested through several bottles. I would like to keep some of this on hand for my new "any occasion" beer.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker pint.

Pale gold with 1 fingers of white head. Cloudy with heavy carbonation.

Papaya, tangerine, lemon, pineapple and candy sugar.

Papaya, pineapple and tangerine. Lemon pith, pale candy sugars and notes of bread. Finishes with honeydew and hints of pine needle.

Medium bodied, crisp, clean and refreshing.

Spot on for the new breed of American Pale Ales!

12 oz bottle poured in to a tulip glass.

A- The body is a pretty transparent gold color with some orange hues. A small amount of bubbles float up towards one inch of head which quickly recedes to a half finger cap of frothy foam.

S- The smell is quite enjoyable and noticeably balanced. Lots of sour citrus, but also a good sweet malt component.

T- Clean, light and refreshing taste. Just enough hops to give it some character, and finishes very grassy. This is easy to consume for sure.

M- Medium to light body and crisp.

O- Overall, this was just plain enjoyable. Nothing stood out that made it spectacular, but that's what I like about it. Adequate flavor without being overdone.

Pours a pale, straw colored, golden body beneath the foamy white head which is pretty consistent and leaves a sticky ring of lacing around the glass.

Light straw and grassy hop notes rise from the glass. A touch floral and herbal and just very fresh.

Flavors are similar offering straw and grass with fresh hops and wheat.

This brew offers a lighter body with medium carbonation and a crisp, fresh finish.

Another nice beer from ST with great flavor and aromas which are fresh and distinct.

Poured into a nonic a clear lighter dull golden with a fluffy, sticky one finger white crown atop, the bottle says to decant into a glass,I saw no need.Aromas of grassy/herbal hops over top of nutty malt, not real big but pleasant nose wise.Herbal notes along with a tinge of red onion on the palate,a little tea and mint is noticable,a firm lightly sweet nutty biscuit base holds up to the hops. This a nice APA not gigantic hops but a minty herbal approach that makes it really drinkable, the maltiness is big enough for non hopheads to like this beer as well.Nice job here.
