Not exactly sure why I'm rating this other than that they have some "beer" here. They seem friendly in there and there's some Heady, some Foley Brothers, and S.O.S. but being in Waterbury and able to find that anywhere in town, why bother with this place? Maybe, that's why I'm writing something here, you all can find better.

Kind of puzzled to see this place in the data base. The wife was pretty worn out from all the beers places I'd dragged her to, and was in need of a glass of decent wine. So we stopped in.
The store is fairly small, with the emphasis clearly on wine, food and area souvenirs and Knick nacs. However, they do carry a few cans and bottles, which on this day included 4 packs of Heady Topper (for $16). They also had 8 different beers on tap, all of which were from local breweries I believe. What I thought very cool was the pricing here. All local beers are sold for $4 a pint. As it's turns out, that's not entirely accurate (the glass of Sip of Sunshine I ordered was $4, but it came in a 12 ounce glass), but regardless, suffice it to say that the prices for draft beer are excellent. Service was pretty good. The owner/manager we spoke to was very friendly, engaging and informative.
Shrug. There are a lot of great places in town where one can find a fabulous selection of draft beer and bottles/cans, but even so, this was a welcome discovery (I don't think I'd ever get tired of $4 glasses of SOS).

Stopped in because I was told they were one of the lesser know places to carry Heady Topper. One refrigerator sized cooler with VT beer. I was able to not only find HT, but Sip of Sunshine. Prices were about $4 a 4 higher than Craft Beer Cellar. Make no mistake, this is a wine shop that just happens to have a cooler of beer.
