Notes: A quick sour brewed in the Gose tradition with Indian Coriander and Himalayan Pink Salt. A large dose of Apricot was added at the end of fermentation to lend a well-rounded fruit flavor and a beautiful orange hue. The end result is an effervescent, refreshing beer for any time of year.

An impressive effort. Balanced (and that cannot be said about many a gose I've Had.)
Bought from Tavour two months back. (Saved this one for a hot day when I was low on salt intake.)

An orangey apricot beats the usually limey Looks of the style. Smells are muted but even: I sense the fruit and coriander most. Tastes follow, but not too tart and not too salty... as this style often is in the hands of novices. (And now that I read the label, I do taste the Himalayan difference from, say, Mortons.) In my mouth, its modest bubbles work in tandem with the dying salt.

I'm giving Bozeman some unusually good OA Hugs for several reasons. First, their beer lineup does not rely on AIPAs and have diversified well for the American palate. Second, started by a couple in 2001, they are crafter pioneers for this college town. Third, the town is cool; also diversified beyond the University to do some high-tech work, whose employees also like a cool town with cool brewers. Fourth, I really hope Bozeman elects their Governor to be U.S. Senator. Do that, and I will buy more of your offerings from Tavour. Cheers !

Pour like an orange soda in color and carbonation, virtually no head or ring. Sour apricot leads the mango, coriander, and pineapple nose, salt is minimal. Where as in the taste the salt and a kiss of lime zest gives it a kick and balance, lingering sour notes are the memorable impact of the beer. Feel is where I take some issue: love the bright and juicy tart body, but it doesn't have much movement on the palate for a style that sneaky does, and it is certainly sweeter for style, almost like it wants to go into a full on wild ale before having second thoughts. Still good on a stinking hot day
