12oz can. No dating information found.
Mostly clear, deep gold colored body. One finger of white head becomes a thin cap and high ring. Leaves a wide band of lacing.
Aroma of citrus, pine, and herb.
Taste follows the nose with orange/grapefruit citrus, pine needle resin, and bready and earthy herb. Bitter citrus pith comes in late and extends into the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Expresses both sweet and bitter. Very good carbonation.
Higher bitterness, body clarity, and a sweet malt base put this in the category of a West Coast IPA. Somewhat of a palate wrecker.

I tried this beer off the tapper at Montana Ale Works in Bozeman, Montana as part of a three sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base and semi sweet citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Drinking this at home.
Poured from a twelve ounce can into a pint glass.
Date on can 06/26/21 a born on date or a drink by date? Doesn't say.
Looks, golden yellow with a nice foamy head that dropped to a thin cap.
Smells lightly bready, grapefruit, spicy and piney.
Taste follows the nose with plenty of spicy hops for the style.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style which I really liked a nice balance of malt and spicy hoppiness. Kind of like a Hop Slam.
Overall a very good example an American IPA, a little bit of a boozy taste for an ABV of 7%, hopefully next Summer I can try it on tap.
Cheers!

Picked this up a while ago when I was out west, as I never had anything from Bozeman Brewing before. Hard to read the date that was stamped on the side of the can, near the bottom, but this poured fine and didn't have any large sediment in it. This was a bit heavy on the palate but wasn't a bad example of what a good American IPA should be!

This beer's appearance was alright as it was golden, somewhat brassy in hue, and filled with a very fine sediment that swirled around every time I took a sip. Enough head topped it off but the lacing was mostly in the form of a thick, rocky, and deep head near the top of my pint glass. Not a strong aroma to this as there's lots of caramel, pine, and sharp citrus as that was also true for the taste. A bit of tobacco, bread, and grain entered the fray as I sipped it with this being quite balanced and acrid on the palate, but not too far from being typical at the same time.

There could have been a bit more carbonation to this and the mouthfeel was moderately slick as the booze was easily felt. That complemented the flavors here and this came across as stronger than it was in actuality. Not a bad IPA as this was certainly indeed in the "Hopzone", with enough malt to round things out!

Draft at the Slippery Otter in West Yellowstone, MT. Pours a clear amber with a very thin off-white head. Initial impression is citrus(mostly orange and grapefruit) and pine resin. Mouthfeel is medium-sticky; carbonation is perfect. Finish is clean and bitter. I love hops, but this one was a little over the top for me.

A monster three finger head with good retention. The head is off white in color and is stiff frothy peaks that leaves some lacing on the glass. The color of the beer is a pale gold color and is translucent. The beer has some carbonation buble visible. Overall a very good looking beer.

Nose: A ripe fruity nose with grapefruity citrus, pine, and floral esters. A light toasted malt, with biscuit, caramel, and yeasty notes.

Taste: Pine, grapefruit, floral bouquet, fruity notes, with light toasted malt, biscuit, yeast, kinda a solvent metallic note.

Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation, medium mouthfeel, and astringent finish.

Overall, the appearance and the aromas coming off the beer is phenomenal, I was super stoked to try this beer, but the beer is malt backbone is too heavy and the hops just taste off for me. I sure was hoping for a great IPA after I got a good look and whiff, then I was let down.
