The colour is amber, the liquid is clear. The three finger beige head sinks quickly leaving some lacing.
The smell is... old. English oxidised hops. Bitter orange succat and buttery hops.
The taste reminds more of an English Strong Ale than an AIPA... Sweet bread, dusty tired hops and some butterscotch. Medium body. The aftertaste got notes of butter, dried flowers and bitter herbs. Lemon acid in the finish.
Medium strong carbonation, small short-lived bubbles. The liquid is smooth.
Old... Way too old. No best before-date on the can.
