The colour is yellow with a tint of gold, the liquid is clear. The two fingers head is white and compact; it sinks slowly leaving some lacing on the glass.

The smell is clean, malty and sweet. Pilsner malt and floral hops. A touch of butter in the background.

The taste is booth sweet and fresh. Clean medium bitterness, some floral and herbal notes. White bread and a touch of dough. The sweetness doesn’t get sticky although it is rather strong. Medium to full body. The aftertaste is smooth with some sulphate and floral hops in the sweetness. The finish is malty and elegant.

The carbonation is medium strong; the many small bubbles are long-lived and fresh. The liquid is smooth and a bit sticky.

A good and very clean Dortmunder Export. A worthy winner.
