A- Pours a very light gold/yellowish color, seems to have modestly aggressive carbonation and the head is pretty much non-existent but rather spotty patches over top the liquid. The lacing is equally underwhelming, only coating the inside of my glass with a smooth, oily film (adjunts?). A sign of things to come I guess....
S- This has the sweet adjunct aroma of boiled corn, but not as bad as some macros I've had. There are doses of grain malts, apple fruitiness that intensifies the longer it has been in the glass, dry grass and stale grain kernels, and overall is just mild in smell.
T- The flavors are very much the same as the aromas let on, however, there is an underlying astringent bitterness found from start to finish that I find bizarre...also found is a lingering metallic flavor that is just there and sticks around long after the swallow, all of the way to the next sip. Other than this, there is some positivity about it....sweet grain malt, alongside corn sweetness, some dry to very dry herbal/grassy notes and mild orchard fruit. Below average at best.....
M/O- Sticky sweet medium body best describes this one, with relatively modest carbonation allowing the flavors to really coat and show themselves on the palate. I am trying to be kind with this one, as its not bad, but very much a typical Euro lager that is just meh.....I don't find it particularly thirst quenching, or really drinkable/social and I think Im more than done after I get through this pint. Save yourself the time, effort and money and pass....

Pours a clear yellow with fine, soft foam.
Smell is clean and light with a soft maltiness and some floral hops.
Taste is clean, crisp and malty. Mild bitterness with some floral elements to it, and notes of citrus and knäckebröd.
Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a good pale lager, nothing special but well made and easy to drink.

$2.50
The beer pours a translucent light gold colour with a generous white bubbly head that lingers a while. The aroma is grainy malt, macro style and weak floral hops. The mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is very malty with grainy malt, and a weak hoppish bitterness in the finish. Again, not something I would revisit.

On tap @ bent Elbow - pours a hazed gold with a decent 2 finger cap, light grainy-bready notes and some light grassy hops. The flavour is richly malty, spicy with sufficient hop bite. I was impressed at how rounded and finished this beer was, it obviously spent some time in conditioning -very pleasant, flavorful and satisfying for a higher gravity brew....../// UPDATE: Have been buying cans of this from LCBO for camping/fishing;football games - I really like the decent flavorful balance and smooth delivery - great go to beer fridge beer - up there with Hacker-Pschorr Helles

500 ml can served cold into an MGD pint glass. Purchased this Swedish beer from the LCBO for $2.10 CDN. This version advertised at 5.9% making this considered a "strong" beer.
Appearance - Clear, fairly rich golden color. Translucent with tons of lively bubbles rising to the surface. Pours a finger and a half of white head that has some staying power. Some speckles of lacing left behind.
Smell - Not a big nose, but a refreshing does of grain and some light grassy hop aroma too. A slight adjunct-ish note mixed.
Taste - Clean and refreshing, light grainy flavors throughout. Some sweetness at the end and a slight metallic twang, that is harp; this is the only hint to the extra alcohol. Caramel malt bill comes through a little more after a few sips.
Mouthfeel - Finishes quite dry, carbonation is a excessive but fairly typical for the style.
Overall - A decent beer for the style, easy enough to drink and aroma is certainly above average. Won't rush out to pick this up, but certainly at this price, a worthy choice for those parties where where you're not going to remember much after the first few beers but need something decent enough to finish out the evening.
