The colour is medium straw yellow; the finger thick head is airy and white. There is some lacing.
The smell is dry and hoppy in a noble-hops way; some mild bitterness, quite a lot of butter and minerals (an interesting touch of chalk)
The taste is mild, dry and quite neutral. Some buttery notes, some minerals and hints of dough and a mild-medium bitterness with some metallic flavours. The aftertaste got some mineral-metallic flavours, and a mild hoppy-buttery-bready note.
The carbonation is medium strong; the bubbles small. The liquid is somewhat smooth.
Åbro Bryggeri uses one yeast strain for all their beers (a standard lager strain) except for the "Småland" beers that use a Czech pilsner yeast strain. The buttery mineral notes can probably be traced back to the yeast. Apart from that, this is a quite uninteresting beer.
