The colour is clear pale yellow; the large off-white foam sinks slowly down to a two finger thick lasting head.
The smell is pretty strong with sweet notes of wheat dough, straw, grassy hops, some yeast and broth, soy sauce and lots of alcohol.
The taste got moderate sweetness and bitterness. There are some notes of dough, nuts and yeast. But the dominating (almost dense) flavour is alcohol. The aftertaste is also quite alcoholic with salty notes of marzipan, honey and wheat cookies.
The carbonation is lively and maybe it is a little bit soft. The bubbles are small.
It reminds in some way of the weaker beers in the Original series, but at 7.3% the alcohol takes over in a rather negative way. Still, it is not the worst example of this style that I have came across

Good standard Swedish lager. Worth a try if you get the chance!

If you are looking for a Euro Strong Lager for dirt-cheap, you can do a lot worse than Abro 7.3. I'm just biased since I wouldn't be looking for a Euro Strong Lager anyway. With that said, I can merely repeat what has been said by earlier reviewers. Perhaps this wouldn't have been a horrible beer if it was a few percentage point weaker. But as is, the alcohol completely dominates and overpowers the beer.

A: This beer pours golden with a large rather thick white head that takes some time to dissipate, into nice lacings.
S: Semi-sweet malt with some bitter hops. An unbalanced flowery tone.
T: Sweetness and unbalanced breadyness to the malt. Only faint hops, mostly bitter. The alcohol dominates.
M: Aftertaste is rather long and holds a mix between sweet and bitter. Body is medium to full and carbonation is kind of flat.
D: Yawn. Another boring Swedish Macro beer, better left on the store shelf.

Light yellow color with a spicy smell of exotic fruits and a touch of hops. The taste is medium bitter and seemingly sweet, also here are the exotic fruits appearant together with a slight taste of citrus. Not a top beer but definately drinkable. ;)
This beer is brewed out of Swedish and Danish malt, hallertau and spalt hops.
