My hometown brewery. Their products can primarily be found in Northeast Ohio. Relatively small town style with a wide array jarred produce, cheeses, fresh food, all the like. It's more so a winery using their homegrown grapes but their beer is also most excellent. I highly recommend trying their goods if you come across them. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Hartville.

We stopped here to join another group so that we could try their beers. The location is a rural setting. The place is primarily a winery and restaurant, but a brewery was created too, probably so that they could offer alternative beverages for the beer lovers. The place is also a meat and cheese deli and a fresh produce market. There is plenty of indoor seating, but they also have a large covered patio, and it was a nice evening so we sat outside.

There are two serving bars inside, and both had a slow line for ordering your food and beverages. No sampler flights are offered so we had to try to evaluate their beers based on full pours. That meant that we could only try three of the 15 beers that were available during the short time that we were there. Each was brewed to style, and each exceeded its respective style characteristics a bit, but none of the three was considered exciting. Other beers on the menu had interesting descriptions, but some of them were high abv so that we couldn't try them without over indulging.

We had only an appetizer to eat, so no food rating is included in this review. What we had was very tasty, and others at our table who were eating a meal reported wide satisfaction. I'd be curious to come back here some day to try some of the other beers if I am ever in the area again. The place is worthy of a visit.
