Poured black and semi viscous. I expect that from an imperial milk porter. Nose is all nutella. Just smells fantastic....hazelnuts and notes of peanut butter. Taste is very good. Nice hazelnut and peanut butter flavors meld extremely well with the porter's chocolatey notes. Feel is as expected...semi thick due to it being a milk porter. Overall, very good beer. Really enjoyed sharing this one.

650ml bottle, served in a tumbler. Pours a dark black body, one finger thick white head, good retention, not much lacing. Smell is acrid bitter coffee aromas, roasted coffee bean, milk chocolate, light nuttiness, sweet chocolate malt, a bit of cocoa. It's alright, not much hazelnut seems to come across here, and the coffee is a bit much. Flavour is similarly skewed towards the coffee, the coffee is more of a burnt, overdone espresso on the palate, leaving a slightly acrid finish on the palate. The hazelnut kicks in near the end, but it's not nearly enough to salvage things. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, solid depth but again, too much acrid burnt coffee on the finish for my taste. I've heard this one compared favorably to M3, but I will have to be one of the few that differ. This is still a very good beer but the coffee in this is not done right.

Wow, just wow. Share on 3-4-17. Pours a hefty black with small cream head. This is one of those beers that you could enjoy wafting through your nostrils all day long. The hazelnut is there, but with the sweetness of the brew, it smells like someone poured Nutella into their coffee. The taste follows suit. A big, rich and creamy sweet hazelnutty goodness coats the mouth, with coffee on top of that. The flavor stays with you well after it goes down. I loved this beer.
