On tap at Wright Bros in Austin.
A: Pours a dark brown with some ruby red around the edges. A two finger white head forms, and recedes to a ring that sticks throughout. Plenty of lace is left behind.
S: That perfect wheat forward, yeast combination. Banana and fruity ester with some spicy clove for sure. Slightly darker malts and bit of baked bread.
T: This is great. Like a banana and chocolate covered version of the regular Hefe. Toasted malts, baked bread, and finishes on the husky wheaty side.
M/D: A medium body and moderate carbonation. Ultra smooth and velvety. Something I can drink all day.
On a side note, I can't believe how Live Oak ratings have fallen recently. I guess you need all the hype you can get. They still continue to make some of the best beers in the state. This is one of them.
