Rich and malty with intense caramel flavors. Bold up front with some undertones of dried fruits in the finish.

Taste: rich smoked peat, earthy, spice dark malts, dried fruit. Woody bacon nose. Dark brown hue, mostly opaque, tan head with some lace. Medium body. Had years ago.

Tap
Pours clear amber brownish, yellowish white lacing for a head.
Smells of rich maple, toffee, and biscuit.
Flavor of maple, caramel, toffee and sweet biscuit and cereal malt.
Medium to full body with tingly carbonation on the tongue.
A very good scotch ale with good rich flavor. Not exceptional, but above average and worth having.
