On tap at Beachwood BBQ.
Pours a very lively straw-golden color with a fluffy. The smell was a touch fruity, not too much Belgiany stuff going on though there was enough to characterize it as a Belgian. The taste was on the sweeter side of a Belgian pale, sugared fruit and a touch of earthiness in the finish. Not a bad beer by any means, but a bit different than most Belgian pales you would run into, which is not a bad thing.

On tap at Toronado.
A: Deep copper with hints of red. The bartender improperly poured it so there was no head to speak of, but that may not be the nature of the beer.
S: Light phenols, cherry, cane sugar, and flesh. Interesting if not overly enticing.
T: Lots of malt and sugar up front, with a peppery (almost rye-like) dryness on the back of the tongue.
M: Thin and flat. There's not much here to back up the sugars and bittering flavors. It just seems to run to the back of my palate without even saying hello.
D: So-so, though it makes a fine pair for one of the Rosamunde sausages from next door.
Overall, a substandard Belgian-style offering. Take a pass on this one.
