Thanks to WCW for this one.

Poured from a 22oz bottle, bottled on 01/27/14.

A light honey colored body with thick foam and good, strong lacing. Smell is sweet clementines, grapefruit, orange flesh. Taste is resiny, sticky, full, sweet pink grapefruit and a nice baseline of bitterness. Really enjoyed this one.

Drake's Brewing Co. - Hopocalypse, poured into a DFH Spiegelau IPA glass.

Look - Pours a cloudy orange amber with a glorious foamy head that retains a bit. Abundance of lacing.

Smell - Touch of malt. Orange and other dank low-profile juicy citrus hops. Rye.

Taste - Nice malt body with juicy citrus and a nice rye finish.

Mouthfeel - Full-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Pine and rye. Good drinkability. Not overly boozy.

Overall - Great rye DIPA! Tasty and hop juicy. It'll creep up on ya.

Bottled on 2-11-14 and the Raul man wishes that he could have tasted a fresher batch...but hey, when the prom dress comes off, it comes off.

Assertive like that girl in the office who thinks that she owns the place, but she's cute, so you put up with it anyway. Ok... this is definitely a big boy and it lets you know it. Bits of juice, bits of malt... and they party merrily like a cruise ship that doesn't have plumbing issues.

Raul is into it, but he won't sing to it on its birthday.
