330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Cloudy yellow colour, low white head. Strong aroma of mango and fruity hops, also notes of pine needles. The flavour is first sweet and full of mango, then aggressive hops take over with a grapefruity and resinous bitterness.

Had Mangofeber DIPA in June 2017 on Lidingö, Stockholm, Sweden, poured from 330-ML. bottle into small hand-blown water glass.
Pours a beautiful hazy tangerine-gold, with a 1/2-finger near white head that dissipates quickly but leaves nice splotchy lace. Aroma is mild sweet fruit. The fruit is much bigger on drinking, nicely paired with the lighter malt, before a lovely, drying, even biting finish.

330 ml skinny can.
Pours a thick hazy slightly dirty orange yellow with 2-3 fingers of off white foamy head.
Smells of sweet caramel malt but dominant fruity - mango, pineapple, ripe orange.
Taste is fruit forward - mango, citrus, but with a grapefruit rind bitterness that becomes a little aspirin like to my palate at the back. Really tastes like slightly bittersweet tropical fruit juice.
Medium mouthfeel - a bit under carbonated which detracts from the body significantly - alcohol is well hidden - this is good but clearly not my thing - wanted a beer, feel like I got alcoholic fruit juice.

Served in a tulip from the bottle.
Appearance: Cloudy yellow with medium bubbles and thick white head rising roughly half a finger's length. Suds on the glass which come off sticky.
Smell: Fruity malts with a touch of hops.
Taste: Sweet fruits. Mango of course with hints of citrus and touch if pineapple.
Mouth: Full bodied and a touch dry. Fruity finish. Has a slight subtle bite to it.
Overall: Aqeomse brew, not a dessert brew which carries a lot of weight to it.

A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 21st May 2019, ‘B61 goa’. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy dark orange (mango juice) colour, with a two finger white head that had decent retention and left some lacing.
Aroma: Mango, citrus rind and peel, pineapple, grass with a light dankness.
Taste: Mango, mandarin, orange rind with a light bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A juicy DIPA with well hidden alcohol that is nice and easy to drink. Much better than its Session IPA counterpart in my opinion.

Poured to an Ora et Labora taster.
A: Body is opaque orange, with a minimal to no head white head. Though the body looks yummy and amazing, the head is quite weak.
S: The aroma is very bland, having really no expression of no fruits nor hops. It has just a very minimal resin profile but it's so minimal you actually end up expecting the beer to have no flavour at all.
T: Taste is very complex, starting off with passionfruit, going into tangerine, orange peel, going forward to lime, mango and ending in that woody touch from the mango seed. It's just fruit juice. In the end, a very resinous profile is available.
M: Body is medium to high. Carbonation is high. Alcohol is barely unnoticed. Bitterness is high, green and just a bit too harsh.
O: Aroma-wise, this is an empty beer. But flavour-wise, it's very joyful as it is one of the most fruit forward beers I've ever had in my life.

330ml better served in a tulip nonic. Pours a milky, yellow-orange with a fizzy, quarter inch, cream-colored head that quickly disperses into a fizzy slick. Not much to the nose - suggestions of citrus and perhaps some grassy notes. Nice flavor profile - citrus, an earthy/herbal character and a suggestion of grapefruit seeds that lingers between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light in body with an assertive, prickly carbonation and a light acidity that stimulates the salivary glands. Pretty enjoyable and somewhat reminiscent of an old school East Coast DIPA.

So it seems someone all the way over in Sweden is doing the NE IPA thing, and doing it well, and has been for at least a couple of years. Although, considering old school English brewers used to dry hop their casks before sending them off to the pubs, this style is probably older than we realize.
In any case, let's get to it. Mangofeber pours a hazy orange-yellow with a large white fluffy head.
An herbal potpourri of hops meets the nose, with mango.
Taste is actually orange vanilla cream candy, mango, and a light light bitterness.
Moderately soft, very drinkable.

L - Hazy straw with a good white head
S - Mango (who'd guess right?) but also a tropical fruits and citrus bowl, pine and light caramelized biscuit
T - Good balance, nice bitterness, the flavour follows quite well the aroma
F - Smooth
O - One of the best DIPA I've had from Europe. 8% ABV? Wahoo, it's so drinkable, maybe so much it's dangerous, at least it makes you want a lot more

330 mL bottle. Hazy orange. Smells odd. Funky and cheesy. Mango fruit and hops. Tastes of mango up front. Sweet juiciness. Some pale malt. Astringent booziness and a hint of bitterness. Medium body. High carbonation. Smells odd, but tastes pretty good.

Mycket spännande med mild eftersmak och ändå inte sliskig som det kan bli med frukt. Riktigt överraskande god!

Cloudy yellow with a retaining, puffy white foam.
Mango, citric/tropical hops.
Like it smells. The right touch of mango, hop bill fits. Not too sweet, slightest edge of bitter, plenty of character. Feels more like an APA, really.
Tad dry, but that's not a bother. Could use an up in carbonation.

Hazy bright yellow color with white head. Aroma has lots of juicy citrus fruits and mango. Taste is really hoppy with dank and juicy fruit notes. A bit of alcohol warmth and bitterness on the finish. Heavy body with just the right amount of carbonation. Really well made dank and fruity DIPA.

On tap at Avenue Pub. Pours hazy yellow with thin white head. Classic IPA aroma, citrus and mild fruit. Taste starts citrusy and finishes with some peppery earthy kick. Medium soft mouthfeel. Very solid DIPA.
