A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 4th July 2019, ‘B2 p8lse’. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy golden colour with a one finger white head that had decent retention and left some lacing.
Aroma: Melon, guava, lemon, pine and grass.
Taste: Lightly sweet, watermelon, lemon and pine with hints of caramel and guava.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a touch of booze here and there.
Overall: This was ok, but I felt that the guava didn’t really come through strong enough.

The colour is pale gold; the liquid clear. The three fingers head is white and airy and it sinks quickly down leaving no lacing.
The taste got distinct notes of bitter hops, citric peels, lime juice and grapefruit, green banana and some passion fruit.
The big taste starts with hot alcohol and fruity bitterness. Growing whey sweetness, banana peels, mango and passion fruit. Medium body. The short aftertaste got exotic fruits (mango), candy sweetness and fruit jelly flavours. The finish is also short with anonymous exotic fruits and hash banana peel.
The strong carbonation got long lived mid-sized bubbles. The liquid is smooth.
Not bad at all, fine fruits, but the taste is just too… short.

Pours a clear light orange, with fine foam.
Smell is very fruity and tropical, with guava being the center of attention. Slightly tart.
Taste goes heavy on the slightly tart guava, with some passion fruit as well. Ends with a bit of booze and mild bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a good DIPA, a little bit one dimensional.
