After many months, I have finally traced down all of the Swedish Easter beers of 2005!

The colour is very dark brown-amber, the pale brown foam forms a slowly sinking head.

The smell is somewhat burned with notes of dates, raisins, marzipan and pumpernickel. OK, but it could have been even richer.

The taste is fruity and burned-bitter with a full-bodied touch of dry, dried fruits. The quite long aftertaste is bitter with salty notes and a flavour of roasted hazelnuts and a touch of gravy.

The carbonation is quite soft.

I think this rather robust beer suits Christmas time than Easter.
