Clean, modern store with a hip vibe to it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dozens of beers on tap for growler fills. A good selection of bombers. Several coolers of craft beers, available as six packs or singles. Prices seemed fair and overall a good place to stop if in Newark.

Clean, well-lit store with a pleasant, positive and knowledgeable atmosphere. Most of the stores around here are dark, dirty and run by people who know little to nothing about the more interesting beers they stock. Beer tends to be treated well; some large format bottles are kept on warm shelves rather than cold, but 6 packs are all refrigerated. Staff is helpful and quick with samples, which is nice. More knowledge about what's on tap would be better, but they're already miles ahead of the competition. This store focuses mostly on growler fills, with some bottles, wine and spirits as well. The growler selection is good, but tends towards strong ale/DIPA/RIS territory rather than session-strength stuff. I do appreciate that their "menu" lists ABV, and IBU to help people get a sense of what they're getting themselves into. The turnover of kegs and taps seems to be kinda slow; of the 50 taps, only a few/none have been added in the last 2 days. That said, they keep things refrigerated rather than letting hoppy beers die a slow death on a warm shelf under bright lights.

Prices are typically reasonable, but a 64 oz. growler refill is more than a [72 oz.] 6-pack of the same beer somewhere else, and a 32 oz fill is 65-75% of the price of a 64 oz fill.

Overall, this a great store for Newark, especially on Main Street. I suspect that as time goes on, kinks will be worked out with service and selection. They could do a better job labeling their "rarities" and calling attention to things you can't get in bottles somewhere else.
