i have been meaning to check this place out for a long time now, but never seem to make it this far up when i am out that way. i am glad i finally did, as i have been a fan of just about all their beer since it has been out in cans. their space is nice, new feeling with a turf covered patio out front and a long bar, high ceilings, and a fresh vibe on the inside. its generic in a way, aside from the rube goldberg looking machine on one wall, and really could be just about any brewery taproom, plain like some of their beers, not an aesthetic i love personally, but i was comfortable in here and excited that it wasnt too busy when we went in on a saturday. they had a very good food truck outside serving up far more interesting selections than the bar inside. on tap they basically just had everything they do in cans, a real let down for me, as i always hope a brewery will reward a visitor with a couple of oddities or taproom exclusives, but that just wasnt the case here. i had the lager, the cream ale, the dry hopped amber, and a solid el dorado pale ale. all were predictably good, if on the safe side, but that seems to be their thing. in the end, the taproom is spacious and fun, if a little lifeless, and the beer is very very good technically speaking, if a little safe. nothing unexpected here, but worth a visit for sure.

edit: they have remodeled the place a bit, cleaned up the look, modernized it, and its a little more cozy and welcoming in feel, i think a big improvement to the vibe in here. beer is still excellent, cooler space now, good call!

Really cool little spot with lots of games and super friendly staff. The beer is good, not great with a slight lack of variety. I do really enjoy their oatmeal stout. Prices are a little off with growler fills being more expensive than Avery's base offerings (IPA etc.) right down the street. Makes it hard to justify getting beer to go from Garf's. Fun place to hang out for sure

Out of the way in tiny Gunbarrel, I wasn't expecting much from this place. The vibe is excellent and the service is great, everyone has a smile on their face. Very unique tap room with tons of games, interesting snack 'pairings', and fantastic decor.

The beers were mostly just the standards with nothing really standing out as excellent. All of them were at least solid, though, which is nice for a new brewery. The milk stout was the favorite of our group.

This place is definitely worth a visit for the fun vibe and games.
