Humpback Jack is a good october beer for the fireplace hearth. Makes me want to carve pumpkins, but really makes me want to go to the brewhouse and get some of their pumpkin ale. Those who like smoother pumpkin ales will prefer this one. It pours a tranparent orange with good carbonation. light thin head. nose is of pumkin and spices like cinnamon and coriander with maybe some raisin or brown sugar. The taste is very smooth, but a bit thin in the mouth. Good pumkin taste but it doesnt hang on through the finish as much as I would like, if you are looking for this, the Glacier Brewhouse pumpkin ale is the better choice, if you like smoothness, go with the M sun.

The pour starts with a burst of carbonation and settles as a is very clear light golden color with a withe cream looking head that doesn't hold for too long. It has a strong spice smell overtaken with cinnamon and pumpkin of course. the initial flavor is strong with the spices and mellow to a bitter finish. It is a extremely smooth beer and a definite must try for all of you pumpkin beer lovers
