This beer was interesting. It smelled similar to a Fantome. I'm not sure if it was because of all the wheat, the hopping or they may have even used a saison yeast. It was peachy, wheaty with a hop aroma similar to an herbal tea.
Taste is bold but the hops, alcohol and malt are all working together. I get the taste of that herbal tea. It's really has some belgian qualities to it. I would've like some more aggressive hopping. I really didn't know what to expect going into this beer. I was thinking it would be like an imperial Gumballhead. This beer just seems too balanced for what it is.

The appearance had a hazy orange/amber colored body with a one finger white foamy head. Light lacing slides practically immediately into the body. The smell had some orange, some tangerine, just a tad of wheat. The taste had all of the previously mentioned flavors with a touch of oiliness, orange aftertaste, dry finish. On the palate, it sat at/about a medium, and was slightly sessionable. Carbonation still holds some strength even though I’m having this a little older than I probably should. Carbonation is good for the style and for me - pretty much spot on. Overall, a wheat DIPA, hey I like the idea.

Dark wheat colored beer. So much wheat, obscures any notion of clarity. Alcohol really noticeable in the nose as well as a substantial amount of bittering hops giving hints of citrus.
Well this is just borderline absurd, the bitterness is through the roof and the wheat base isn't helping to keep it from seeming abrasive, the alcohol is still pretty prominent too. Doesn't taste quenching. Just a palate wrecker.
