Rip Current - North Park Tasting Room

 

 

 

This Rip Current tasting room is located in the North Park neighborhood on 30th Street. It's a nice corner building. Inside there are tables and seating along a roll-up window. Nice size bar with seating in a L-shape format. There was a food establishment called Sublime in the same building, so you can get food with your beers.

I had a glass of vanilla stout which was fantastic. The server was friendly and welcoming.

Another solid place in North Park. Enjoyed my visit.

Corner bar paired up with a small food place. They have some guest taps and a lot of Rip Current's regular lineup, plus some specials. Small taproom kind of vibe with loud music and several TVs with sports.

The beer is very good, I didn't try the food. Worth a stop while in North Park.

Cool little corner bar with roll-up window seating. Long L-shaped bar seats about 20. Some tables in front and back. Over 20 beers on tap, nice assortment of styles. The 2 I had were solid. Service seemed a bit distracted.

Another stop on my North Park crawl, a strenuous trek requiring plenty of beer. Rip Current is a comfortable tasting room not to far from the Belching Beaver. Nice vibe along with some tasty crafts - I tried a taster then jumped on Bus No 2 to continue my journey.

 

 

 

 

 

 

They carry Rip current and guest beers. Growler service to tasters. In house Sublime kitchen gets an A. Nice slide open doors for a breeze. They do not brew at this location. Plus Rip Current beer is great.
