a wonderful, hop flavored cider ale type brew, hard to explain, easy to drink. pours a hazey golden color, with a thin head, but not a film, an actual head. the smell is all granny smith maybe a little hop hint. the taste is like a cider with a slightily more bitter and bitey finish, with a nice easy going mouth-feel and goes down like pop. the problem with this brew is that if you don't come to Anchor-town and visit the tooth, you'll never know of the wonders of this beer. so look up priceline.com and buy a ticket, and come enjoy some good beer and beautiful country.

Filled a 32oz. growler while at Brown Jug, deciding that I wanted to go with something sweet and I was definitely not disappointed in that aspect!

L: Cloudy yellow/amber color with a tinge of red-orange

S: Faintly smells of spices, but has a distinct yet soft/easy apple aroma.

T: Sweet, but not too sweet; it has that classic ale taste to it, but surprisingly reminiscent of a cider flavor.

F: Has an ale mouth-feel, not light and effervescent like a cider, but with a medium weight ale feel.

Glad to have tried it, looking forward to trying more by Broken Tooth.

Delicious, super drinkable. Does not taste like a cider, you feel the ale here, but it surely has the apple and hop cent, with mild carbonation.

Very sweet, buy these in growlers at Moose's Tooth only, great environment. Make sure you get there early on a Friday night, or you'll be waiting a bit for that growler refil. Clean em before you go.

Oh irishevans, how you love this beer. The tooths SECOND best fruit beer, is so close to a cider its unreal. Calling it an ale is almost debatable. It pours a cloudy yellowy green. The nose is of granny smiths with an ever so slight hint of sugar. The only thing keeping this from being a cider is that it is seriously undercarbonated and it retains what there is of a head. The taste is instantly apple and is cool because it has slight hop flavors in it as well. It is very sugary and leaves a thick sugar residue on the lips. It is however funkily creamy in the mouth. Goes down smooth and can be slammed like its juice, but im sure it would cause a gnarly sugary hangover. I recommend having this over lunch with a couple of the raspberry wheats as well, and one of the mooses tooth or better yet bear tooths signature salads. Then go back for dinner and drink some 1st taps and a Prince Willy Porter with a blackened halibut pizza. could be the best meal in the state.

Review #800.
On tap at the brewpub.

A - Served a light clear orange with a near-white head.

S - Sweet green apple. Done.

T - Green appe really dominates. Some pale ale wheat and matinees, but pretty light.

D - Light body and decent carbonation.

O - Sweet and very apple heavy. Reminds me of the New Glarus apple ale.
