Nice light easy to drink brew. Well done. I went to the brewery just wanting to get the IPA and was very pleasantly surprised at how good this beer is.

Canned 3 weeks ago.

L -- Quite hazy straw color with a two finger head produced with aerated pour. Minimal retention and some lacing.
S -- Straight up AAL. Not very pleasing
T -- Also straight up AAL. A little doughy sweetness on the finish makes it tolerable.
F -- Good carb, light mouthfeel, very crushable
O -- Just buy a sixer of Narragansett. This stuff is very overpriced

All the standard flavors here, wheat, lemon, honey, and a bit of sourness. Super clean and light, even for the style. Very good, a perfect summer beer. Glad I got a crowler.

Drank on draft at Chatham Bars Inn on 4/18/16; very crisp and clean interpretation of the style; this would make a great summer go-to beer in a crowler

Poured from 16oz. Can into DP Pint glass. Light gold with a thin soapy head. The taste and feel is very clean crisp and light in keeping with the Kolsch style. A very nice summer beer. You can drink a couple of these with a meal. Pairs well with chicken or seafood.

Pint on draft at Otto in Portland.

Appearance: Clear straw, no head.

Aroma: Cut grass, bread, crackers.

Taste: Slightly sweet with a malty presence. Grassy, herbaceous character. Crackers. Bread crust. Grain.

Mouthfeel: Very drinkable. Somewhat lagerish.

Overall: Decent beer, but doesn’t really grab me by the collar. Other reviews suggest serving this in a shaker pint is less than ideal, and that’s how I had it, if that counts.

A nice light kolsch. Light gold color with very little head. Yummy. A bit sour. Very drinkable. Had two pints at Del Mar in Chatham July 2015.

The beer poured a slightly hazy golden color with a massive foamy head. Fortunately that massive head did not last long. Fell to a ring within a minute or two. Fun while it lasted? A bit on the dark side for the style, maybe, but still pleasant to look at.

The smell is sweet, bready, and grainy first and foremost. Very light hop spice, and mildly into the white grape/wine smell.

On the taste I get a small hit of sweet, then the grains come in almost with a raw note, mild bitterness in the middle of the taste, slightly grassy and very mild spice at the end followed by a build in the bitter.

Feel seems a bit heavy for the style, but not entirely sure of myself there. Dry for sure, but I wouldn't say crisp. A bit of chalkiness.

Overall, I like this beer - smooth, well made, worth picking it up and giving it a try.

A- Tallboy pours into a glass with a clarified pale golden body and a frothy white head. The cap makes it up to about a finger high with poor retention before a tiny ring leaves spotty lace.

S- Bready and grainy with most of the aroma coming from the grains and the yeast ferment. Basically no hops besides a bit of a spicy Noble hop character. Hints of pale fruits like pear as well but they are minimal along with a vinous character.

T- Gets a bit fruitier here from the yeast with pale fruits and a vinous pale grape quality. Crackery pale base grains, light bread, a light sweetness, a hint of spiciness and herbal grassy hops. Simple and light but follows the style.

MF- A light and crisp body with a medium-high carbonation. Ends bittersweet with an herbal bitterness lingering. Texture is just a bit frothy and creamy.

Light and straightforward with a pale graininess and slight Noble hops.

Had several of these on draft at at the Lost Dog Pub in Dennis about 4 miles from the brewery. Hard to find Kolsch brewed locally. These were slightly hazy, tart and not overly carbonated. Very authentic to Koln.
