Clear pale yellow with very slight haze and a finger plus of white foam head.
Big bready, sweet aroma. Clean tasting, with modest hop bitterness up front and some bread mid-palate. Moderate bitterness and a kiss of corn-like sweetness in an otherwise clean aftertaste.
Just a hair above light bodied for the style. Very tasty.

Nice light easy to drink brew. Well done. I went to the brewery just wanting to get the IPA and was very pleasantly surprised at how good this beer is.

Canned 3 weeks ago.
L -- Quite hazy straw color with a two finger head produced with aerated pour. Minimal retention and some lacing.
S -- Straight up AAL. Not very pleasing
T -- Also straight up AAL. A little doughy sweetness on the finish makes it tolerable.
F -- Good carb, light mouthfeel, very crushable
O -- Just buy a sixer of Narragansett. This stuff is very overpriced

Poured to a Pils glass from a chilled 16 oz can labeled "best by 2/1/2020.
Appearance is almost classic Pilsner/Kolsch -light straw, tiny bubbles rising constantly to a frothy white head however it is not crystal clear.
Straw, grass, a hint of white pepper hit the nose.
Taste is malt front, mild hop finish. Texture is slightly oily, a little distracting from a desired crisp sensation,.
Overall fair to good.

Appearance:
16 oz can, best by date 4-13-19, purchased at the Pawtucket Guild brewery.
Frothy 2 finger head with varying-size bubbles and moderate retention and lacing. Light gold color. Very slight turbidity.
Aroma:
Sweet pale malts, slight pear and honey aroma standing in admirably for the expected white grape or wine note, nondescript and low hop aroma.
Flavor:
Grainy, bready crackery, biscuity and a nice balancing charge of what tastes like noble German hops in flavor and aroma. The bitterness is soft, acidic and fades back to let the pleasingly delicious grainy maltiness linger in the finish.
Mouthfeel:
Light Mouthfeel. Nominal carbonation for style. No astringency or weirdness. Easy drinking and refreshing as it should be.
Overall:
Although the look and smell had some deviations, I thought this was a really good Yankee Kölsch overall. It conforms to the style about 90% of the way which is more than you can say for most US beers marketed as "Kölsch style" which are really American Blond ales. I will add the malts REALLY shined when sampled out of the tap at the brewery. If you like this style, along with ESB, stouts and all things barrel aged and IPA you would do well to visit the awesome brewers co-op they have at THE GUILD in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Sampling from a cold crowler poured into an English pint glass. The beer pours a bright gold color with just a bit of haze, definitely not cloudy, and several streams of carbonation rise steadily to the surface. The bleached white creamy head of 2 cm foams up and fades to a weak edge layer after the pour.
Aroma is crisp clean lager malt with bit of spicy hop character, but overall a mild nose.
The first sip reveals a light crisp body with gentle rolling carbonation that rolls easily across my palate. Good physical traits for a kolsch.
Flavor is a bit of grainy lager malt and some general sweetness with just a bit of spicy hops on the finish with a bit of grass on the finish. No alcohol presence anywhere and a great summer brew in the can. Glad to have tried this beer and it is well made and has no flaws. I would recommend to anyone in the area for the summer, the can makes it beach and boat friendly and safe.

Clear, straw colored (light gold). Small starting head and it settles to film and leaves no lace on the glass.
Like a true Kölsch, the smell is part raw barley grain and very pale malt.
The taste is grainy and mildly sweet. The flavors are subtle and nearly devoid of any hop. Richer than most Kölsches but the carbonation keeps it balanced. The finish is more of the same, soft nearly raw grain and a light sweetness. Short, but satisfying aftertaste.
With a second tasting, I do pick up on a distinctive, but subtle, hop bitterness. This gives the beer excellent balance which I didn’t recognize the first time I tried it.

A- Tallboy pours into a glass with a clarified pale golden body and a frothy white head. The cap makes it up to about a finger high with poor retention before a tiny ring leaves spotty lace.
S- Bready and grainy with most of the aroma coming from the grains and the yeast ferment. Basically no hops besides a bit of a spicy Noble hop character. Hints of pale fruits like pear as well but they are minimal along with a vinous character.
T- Gets a bit fruitier here from the yeast with pale fruits and a vinous pale grape quality. Crackery pale base grains, light bread, a light sweetness, a hint of spiciness and herbal grassy hops. Simple and light but follows the style.
MF- A light and crisp body with a medium-high carbonation. Ends bittersweet with an herbal bitterness lingering. Texture is just a bit frothy and creamy.
Light and straightforward with a pale graininess and slight Noble hops.
