Sweet grains, rye bready malty, and faint hint of spice hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with a bready malty and subdued old school hoppy finish...the hops are subtle here, but the hoppy bitterness starts to linger a bit as it warms. This is really clean and crushable...good!
Went to Fieldwork expecting to like their new hoppy lager, Shower Days, and grab some cans. Was much more impressed by this American Pilsner. Wanted the nose to pop more, but the taste more than made up for it. It's not overly hopped which can skew many American Pilsners. Flavor profile aligns with more traditional pilsner attributes. I'll defintely be grabbing this again
