Golden hued body crowned with a thick, lasting, dense and creamy head. Fine aroma blending scents of melon and dried strawberries with a light biscuit-like grain scent. Well-balanced flavors, mixing light cereal grains and muted esters with a solid and balanced hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body; crisp with a nice melding of soft sweetness and low-key dryness.
An exceptionally pleasant IPA, balanced and complex, certainly flavorful, and well worth seeking out...

32 oz crowler. Pours clear golden copper with a huge bubbly creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass some .
The aroma is fruity malts and spicy piney resiny hops.
The flavor is sweet bready malt with some tropical fruit and lots of resiny piney hops - very well balanced. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low but smooth carbonation.
Overall, an excellent IPA. I remember it being fruitier on draft, although more fruit does come out as the beer sits.

On tap at the brewery. Darker than Juicy BIts, dark orange. Aroma is slightly hoppy. Flavor is very bitter, hoppy but also malty after drinking the juicy bits. Decent IPA but based on this and Juicy Bits I am going to be the lone dissenter and say the hype doesn't match reality, I don;t care what the local homers say.

This beer now goes by a different, equally forgettable name, but it's the same thing.
Day-old growler poured into a hotel room tumblr. Dark and hazy for an IPA, with a lively head and nice lacing.
Smells of sharp, piney hops and chewy bread yeast. Straightfoward, intense, and well balanced.
Tastes like it smells. Fairly old school and nothing to write home about, but still pretty darn well brewed.

Poured from a growler into a pint glass. Crisp, clear, and just the way an IPA would look. Three finger head that lingers as long as it can, giving way to thin lacing. Smell is fantastic, even from a standard pint glass! Huge, bright citrusy notes are immediately present, breaking into a touch of orange, a slight hint of pineapple, faint traces of hibiscus, and rounded out with a dank, muted, pine smell. I have a good feeling about this one. Yep, flavor is tracking too. Huge burst of hops and tropical fruit. Bitterness attacks early on, with the harshness being ever so slightly countered by a well orchestrated fresh biscuity malt backbone. Mouth feel is spot on, and the lingering finish is all resin and pine bitterness. This one holds up well, and it definitely falls in the top ten local CO IPAs in my book. Bravo, Weld Werks, on a damn tasty IPA. Cheers!
