Notes:
Collaboration with Casey Brewing & Blending,
For our first (but certainly not last) collaboration with the crew at Casey Brewing & Blending, we knew we wanted to do something special. So we tracked down a very limited amount of Nelson Sauvin hops (one of our favorite varietals) and paired it with our selected lot of Citra at a total hop rate of nearly 9 lb/bbl. For the base, we brewed a New England-style Double IPA with just enough malt character and creaminess to balance the massive hop load. The result is one of the best beers we have produced, which is fitting since we brewed it with one of the best breweries in the country. Cheers to brewery friends and more collabs to come!

Pours a murky orange with a finger plus of head that settles to a thin cap with some lacing. Aroma of citrus, mango, and papaya. Taste follows nose. Creamy. Very enjoyable.

Citra kind of drowns out Nelson in this beer, but it is an above average NEDIPA. Deep and flavorful with plenty of expected Citra flavors...including a couple of my favorite hints onion and garlic. Nelson Sauvin comes in to offer some light kiwi and white grape. Bold and resinous with some hop burn, this shouldn't be missed by any IPA fan

Bright and opaque peach colored body; thin yet dense and spongy white head, a bit of sticky rings and patches of foam cling to the glass. Heady smell of nectarine and tangerine, freshly sliced. Big citrus taste anchored with a semi-sweet, oat-like flavor; tangy. Heavy body; sharp and acidic on the palate.
I like this beer. The smell and looks are fantastic, the taste rich and balanced, and the mouthfeel fulfilling. A very nice collaboration.

Pours an opaque dull orange with two fingers of off-white foam. Aroma is papaya, tangerine, mango, orange and lemon zest tropical fruits with some rindy, herbal, and resiny hops. Some light hop burn on the back, but it really folds in well with the tropical fruits. Flavor profile is grapefruit, mango, tangerine, and orange and lemon zest with some resiny, herbaly, and grassy hops sticking to the back. Hops through and through. Some sweetness up front, with rindy hops sticking to the back to add some bitterness. Mouth feel is medium-thick in thickness with a chalky, semi-creamy texture. Overall, thick and full IPA, with balance between hops.

This is absolutely fantastic collab and dunks on Juicy Bits to me personally. This definitely stands out amongst the slew of ipa's Weldwerks releases so I'd recommend picking this one up for sure

Very cloudy straw appearance with nice white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is a very pleasant citrus/grapefruit. Taste is also a very pleasant smooth citrus/grapefruit.

From a can dated 8.27.20, so NOT RETIRED. 8.7% this year
L - Murk, "thicc" golden lace-yellow bird special here, not much head, graceful but not abundant lacing.
S - Citric acid, a little ripe tropical fruit, definitely some hop and alpha acids on the nose, nothing stands out
T - Dense, Juicy Bits on steroids impression, a bit of the white grape/lychee/gooseberry from the Nelson hops in this. Again, thick, but a little bit of a blunt haze instrument here.
F - Good carbonation, hides the alcohol well, and good palate richness (better be at 8.7)
O - A solid but not the best "murk-bomb" from these two great producers. Bought a 4 pack for the name alone, since I study western water stuff. I don't know, however, if I'd buy it again given the price, ABV and overall taste profile.

Thanks to LumpkinBrews for this 16 oz. can. So many beers in the world I don’t even know exist now.
The pour is roughly the pale orange of the President’s face as he waved, gasping from a White House balcony last night. No head (the beer), just a wispy fringe (again, the beer). Nose isn’t much to write home about: vague, soft, faint fruit.
Tansmountain Diversion is likely to get a visit from NE IPA union thugs soon – it has a lovely backbone of bitterness. That bitterness balances the deep yellow melon seeping into my mouth & a slow rolling dankness that is – for once – not reminiscent of beaver pond water, & finishes with a touch of green hop burn. Thank you for clearing my throat! It’ll be interesting to find how that ages through all sixteen ounces, but this feels pounder-appropriate.
Simple but effective. Very good beer.

Canned 12 days ago.
Pours hazy orange with a persistent ring of white head.
The nose is pineapple and mango with light dankness and minerality.
The taste follows. Pineapple-mango juice with mild to medium dankness. Hints of berry/grape. Mild to medium bitterness.
The mouthfeel is medium for the style. Light drying bitterness lingers.
Overall, very good. I think another week or two in the can will soften this for the better (EDIT: It did)

Incredible NEPA with a much welcomed malt taste. One of the best NEIPAs there is! Yum!
