Appearance: the name perfectly describes the appearance: it looks exactly like raspberry lemonade. The body is pink with a haze as if lemonade. The head is brief, off-white and spritzy that fades very quickly to a fine lacing at the edge of the glass.
Aroma: by aroma alone I want to try this beer. No riddles here: the name says it all. Raspberry, lemonade and prominent passionfruit aromas.
Flavor: the initial flavors are raspberry, almost potpourri-like. Dry. The flavors then combine into musty lemonade and mud. The raspberry-lemonade flavors start dry then transition to tart. There is no back-of-the-tongue flavor. This beer is very fruit forward. The raspberry-lemonade is certainly the headlining flavor rather than a subtle layer or complementary flavor.
Mouthfeel: medium-medium. The body is much heavier than the tart flavor seems to dictate.
Overall: the 5-second verdict…I’m glad I bought a single rather than an overpriced 4-pack. The fruit flavors just don’t jive with the hops. The hops come through late in the finish, but, when overlapped with raspberry-lemonade flavor, taste muddy. This beer could show promise as a fruit sour, but – let it be repeated – the hops have no place in that beer. This beer is more alcoh-pop than a fruit beer. I get the impression of artificial everything. Skip this beer. Opt for any other Weldwerks’ beer before trying this one. This easily ranks at the bottom of Weldwerks’ portfolio; only WW’s Branded Flannel can claim the bottom spot.

L: Pours a grapefruit juice/pink lemonade color with no head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Tart lemon mixed with a strong raspberry, a strong yogurt like lactose, almost no hop presence.
T: Tart lemon, strong sweet raspberry, a yogurt lactose taste. No hop presence, barely reminds me of an IPA.
F: Creamy smooth mouthful and medium body.
O: This is ok, but very sweet and not very reminiscent of an ipa, still don't understand this milkshake IPA thing.

Pours grapefruit juice like with practically no head. Nose is of muted raspberry and and tart lemon. Taste is that of, well....raspberry lemonade with a touch of vodka ;) berries and lemon juice/zest are the show. Some vanilla/lactose give it a bit of a milkshake feel. Medium body. It’s enjoyable. Not really a IPA to me but it does taste good so who cares.

Pink grapefruit color, slim to no foam, tight lacing and some good legs. Whispy smell of berries and wine and slight sour funk. Taste is fruity and creamy, with no distinct fruit, just a fruit punch soda like flavor with a slight lemon twang. Body is heavy and easy to drink. They call it a new-england milkshake IPA, but it does not hit the IPA notes for me. Rating it as just a beer and not a perfect example of an IPA. I really enjoyed this.
