Notes: Collaboration with Great Notion

Crowler thanks to Steve. Bright yellow golden, milky and cloudy, small white bubbly head. True to the NE style, this one presents tropical and citrus notes in the taste and aroma. Seems to be some lacto elements as well.

16 oz can, 2/9/22. Pours very hazy dark gold with a medium frothy white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet wheat malt with lots of juicy resiny hops.

The flavor is sweet wheat malt and juicy fruits with a big balancing resiny bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a very well done hazy DIPA.

Canned 1/22/20; drank 2/7/20 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque dull orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big eggshell head; strong, frothy lace.

Orange citrus, honey & dry grass notes in the nose.

Medium thin mouthfeel.

Honey, orange citrus & dry grass flavors; no booze heat.

A bit sweet & a bit dry, without feeling perfectly balanced; drinkable & flavorful, but not quite a home run.

Canned 4 days ago.

Pours deep hazy orange with a persistent off-white head.

The nose is peach candy and green onion.

The taste is a wave of orange with more subtle notes of peach and green bitterness.

The mouthfeel is medium for the ABV.

Overall, very nice.

On-draught @ Weldwerks:

Drinkable, soft, and mellow for an imperial IPA. But the hop pungency just isn't there.

Low B- / WORTHY

Reviewed from notes. Poured from a 32-ounce crowler a hazy pale yellow under a 1" thick white head which leaves semi-rings of lace. Aroma is juicy citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor is loaded with tropical fruit. Semi-medium body and moderate carbonation. Finishes dry and resiny.
