look: 2.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.5
Canned on 9/6/19
Pours a hazed out bright golden orange topped with a finger of so of frothy white head that dissipates quickly to form a slight frothy ring around the surface; no lacing forms around the glass.
Aromas of vivid, tart fuzzy peach are readily apparent upfront, while vanilla bursts forth soon after; backing notes of graham cracker present among a building funky tartness to levy a slight balance to the sweeter tones.
Taste opens with a creamy sweetness meshed together with ripe peaches (maybe a peach yogurt/ice cream tone?); the faintest dosage of cinnamon and lactic sugar tones form along the mid-palate as graham cracker and a light lactic acidity fade into the finish.
Mouthfeel features a body light on the palate, but dense, verging on creamy in texture; a spritzy, light carbonation contrasts a minor tartness leveling along the palate; minute acidic remnants, as the finish is dry and with only a quiet residual sweetness.
While I'm admittedly not a massive consumer of 'pastry-style' beer, this one gave a fairly promising first impression and proved to be a steady, interesting take on a Berliner throughout. My mind isn't blown or anything (the cinnamon/peach pie feel never quite presents in full), but this stays soft and well-balanced enough to leave each sip a welcome one.

WeldWerks' Peach Pie Berliner with white peaches:
Canned 1 week ago.
Pours hazy yellow-orange with a white head.
The nose and taste feature multiple layers of peach. Floral peach and a more candied peach flavor atop vanilla custard and lemon. Like the blackberry version, the graham cracker is lacking a bit. I don't get much cinnamon either. But it's an immensely drinkable summer beer with very fresh peach notes and nice floral complexity.
The mouthfeel is medium. A mild creamy sensation from the vanilla with spritzy tartness in equal measure.
Overall, another WeldWerks beer that I really like. Surprise surprise.
