Wonderful! Go glad I had a chance to drink this beer!

A - Golden, clear pour, no haze. Slight head that hung out, but nothing more than a quarter inch at most.

S - sour, spicy, zesty

T - Wow. You can tell that Jean tried to keep the character of the respective brewers when blending this. perhaps not the most balanced, but an absolute treat none the less. Typical lambic notes that can be found in Grand Cru, but with more spice and more (slightly bitter) zest.

M - clean.

O - Again, the concept is probably more important than the blend itself. I was extremely pleased with this beer and am very appreciative that it was not for sale. It would of removed some magic from the event to see hoarders line up with their friends and family to collect as many bottles as they could. Everyone at Quintessence was able to sample this wonderful beer, and there was no frenzy to get into the line for this beer.

First had: a little preview sip at Cantillon. But then there were a few proper pours at Allagash.
A great gueuze, or some sort of hybrid thereof, forged by 3 great breweries. Hazy golden-yellow pour, with a delicate white head. Funky aroma, cobwebs and a touch of stone fruit. Mild, smooth tartness in the taste, good yeasty funk, light notes of lemon and peach, grass, peppercorn, some pale malt sweetness in the background. Crisp and dry mouthfeel, medium body.

If you've had top of the line lambics, this really isn't extremely divergent, but there are certainly subtle unique characteristics that could only spring from this one-of-a-kind collaboration, which I guess I'm just not eloquent enough to fully expound on!
