Cloudy red with a large pink head. Dry, almost yeasty aroma with fresh cherry behind. Sour flavor with perfectly light cherry. Somewhat creamy feel for the style. Good carbonation. Tasty.

Pours cloudy opaque ruby red with a frothy light pink foam head. Smells like fresh cherries, cinnamon spice, cloves, oak, with floral earthy herbal grassy. Tastes like super tart sour cherries, cinnamon spice, cloves, oak, with floral earthy herbal grass. Feels medium bodied, smooth and creamy with moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice kriek.

Once you allow it to acclimate to room temp. Pour slowly... The overt tartness is not there. I was expecting something I'd cringe at. Instead I found myself drinking each glass. Each sip. Embracing the new experience. Truly a humbling opportunity.
The light to medium body is a light tart stranglehold on your tongue. Yet, it feels as if one opened up it gives a nice drinkablity. Mild aroma with a sweet cherry fruit scent. Almost gives the idea of wanting to cook with lamb and brussle sprouts.
Very enjoyable. The year I had was a 2015. Hope to have again.

Poured to a glencairn glass. The cork reads Brasserie Cantillon 2016 Bottled In Brussels Season 15/16. Bought in October 2016. Cellared until June 2017.
A: The body is red with a small pink head, showing little retention but some lacing, still after a year sitting on the cellar.
S: The aroma has a cherry and a Brett profiles that blend together very well.
T: The taste is complex, having a Brett profile that is on top of every single thing, having some sweetness due to the cherry profile, some acidity due to the regular nature of Brett and in the end, a slight bitterness. In the end, it's more acidic than anything else but it's balanced.
M: Body is medium low. Carbonation is high. Acidity is high and bitterness is medium.
O: This is a brilliantly balanced Kriek, brilliant.

2013 bottle. A striking bright pink color with a frothy white head. The aroma was ripe cherry with a musty, funky note. The taste was complex: cherries, citrus, lavender, rose petals, some hay, and loads of old funk. Dry and clean on the finish, and not too tart. A fantastic beer that was not surprisingly easy to drink.
