Enjoyed on draft at Moeder Lambic. Quite possibly my new favorite framboise, so I'm sad to be leaving so soon. Balanced and complex, not as sour or tart as many lambics, and also not nearly so sweet as framboises from most other makers.

On tap at Moeder Lambic.
A clear pink with a dense, light pink head with good retention and lacing this looks good. The nose is dominated by lots of raspberries with some cherries. A lemony, funky lambic base is present. The palate opens with a solid raspberry flavor, bright and fruity with a limited seed tannin character. Juicy and clean with a lactic and mildly yogurt like flavor complemented by earthy and slightly mushroom like funk. Creamy on the palate. Excellent. The fruit focus isn't as bright and singular as the Cuvee Moeder Kriek.

Enjoyed at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, November 2018.
Bursting with raspberry flavor. Silky soft on the palate. Amazing.

A 250ml pour from the cask at Moeder Lambic Fontainas into a Cantillon Gueuze glass.
Appearance: Ruby red in colour with a big frothy two finger pink head that had great retention and some nice lacing.
Aroma: Lightly tart, raspberry creamsicle.
Taste: Sour, tart, raspberry and a touch of lime.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: Very nice and refreshing.
