375 ml bottled 26 September 2016

Pours beautiful cloudy opaque rose red with a quickly dissipating pink foam head. Smells like the inside of a fresh raspberry with some funky barnyard notes, oak, hay, toasty bready caramelized malt, with floral earthy grass. Tastes like fresh tart sour raspberries, barnyard funk, oak, hay, toasty bready caramelized malt, with floral earthy grass. Feels medium-full bodied, creamy and smooth with moderate low carbonation. Overall a real great lambic with raspberries.

Excellent every day sour beer with above average flavor. There was bright fruit, but the flavor was muted. A bit of bitterness on the finish with a good amount of acidity along with funk. This is not a beer for beginners, but is rewarding non the less.

750 ml bottle, bottled Sep 2015. Bought this in Barcelona a year ago, and kept it for a special occasion, which turned out to be Valentine's Day. That's appropriate for a beer that is a gorgeous pinkish-red, clear, not cloudy. Chilled from the fridge, there's a big foamy head that quickly dissipates.

The aroma is tart fruit, with a little funk. The taste is dry, tart, and raspberries. Maybe lemons too, as it's really tart. And dry, there's just hardly any sweetness at all. The body is very light, with a ton of carbonation.

It's an excellent beer, but I have to say that I didn't find it as ethereal as many BAs seem to. And I do like sours.

Bottled 26 Sept 2016, drank on 16 Feb 2017, poured into a tulip wine glass. Aroma: nice funk, fresh fruit, strawberries, raspberries, wild yeast. Taste: tastes just as it smells, nice berry flavors, slight acidity, wild yeast, fresh oak, natural sugars. This is a great and refined lambic. It tastes natural and fresh.

December 2014 bottle consumed 1/31/17. Deep red hue with light pink head. Raspberry and slight funk on nose. Super clean lactic with great fruit representation. The raspberry lingers on the finish. Quite sour yet balanced. Below average body and above average carbonation.
