This is the young lambic (in my case 15 months unblended) that is served at the end of the self guided tour. Interesting and unique and gives one the opportunity to better understand how aging and blending make a difference.

A beautiful clear tannic yellow, still/no carbonation, a tart wine with an obvious minerality.

Consumed December 2016.

At the brewery served from a ceramic pitcher into a lambic tumbler.

Little fizzy head. Golden yellow color.

Very young tasting lambic (obviously). Light in flavor. Light mineral noes and light citrus. Oak. Grapefruit and lemon juice. Some floral and herbal notes. Very faint sour.

Fun to try. 3.75

15 month lambic at the brewery. Consumed 3/2017

Still. Golden orange color.

Honey notes. Fairly sweet. Herbal notes, earthy, and spicy. Lemon and citrus. Melon notes. Muskmelon specifically. Fruity.

This was a nice treat. Very impressed compared to the 1 year.
