750ml bottle, shared by a random at rogerdandy's latest typically epic bottle share. And yeah, dude, sorry I pronounced this one's name wrong, jeez. Apparently made with rhubarb.

This beer pours a hazy, medium golden amber colour, with one finger of loosely foamy and wispy off-white head, which leaves very little lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.

It smells of musty yeast, tart applesauce, gritty and grainy pale malt, a bit of red balsamic vinegar, and ephemeral earthy, leafy, and floral hops. The taste is rather tart white wine and cider notes, light cooking vinegar, a bit of banal barnyard (the best kind), gritty and grainy pale malt, and more very tame leafy and floral noble hoppiness.

The carbonation is very mild in its barely-there frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and actually quite smooth for style. It finishes tart, musty, and grainy.

Overall, as usual, this is great stuff, balanced and surprisingly easy to drink, even if the rhubarb character has essentially disappeared, or perhaps just morphed into a generic sour fruitiness. Whatever, I am thankful that I got a chance to drink this fairly rare offering.
