750 ml bottled December 15, 2016 consumed July 2017.

Decanted.

White head. Clear golden color.

Very nice gueuze notes. Typical cantillon funk. Supposedly the 2 year compnonet was aged in Armagnac barrels which I can see. Adds another layer. Wet oak. Soft. Has a delicate fruit flavor. Also has a floral/rose petal flavor. Lemon citrus.

This is nice, but not far from classic gueuze. Definitely better, but time will do this one wonders. It'd be fun to have a bottle to age.

375ml bottle at Pistolet, 9€. Looks like Cantillon gueuze, small head, clear orange liquid. Slight brett on the aroma but not too funky, mild fruits. Flavor was absolutely delicious, not really sour but extremely fruity and refreshing. It paired very well with a pistolet of ham and pickles, a real treat to sit out on the street in Brussels and have this with my lunch.
