750ml bottle, 2012 sticker, poured into a Cantillon Bar Volo Zwanze Day glass. Enjoyed on 6.20.2015, reviewed from Tasting Journal.

The beer pours a lovely, ruby red color, opaque and cloudy, cherry and raspberry hues with a pink/off-white head, moderate retention and little lace. The aroma is lovely, cherry pie instantly comes to mind or perhaps cherry cheesecake from the funkiness. Big fresh cherry aromas, tart and fleshy, musty funk, spice, woody oak, mild vinegar coming from the lambic base and some pale grain gives the pie crust some life. The flavors echo the nose really well, loads of tart and sour cherries, the two year old lambic still has a shell of itself, not completely drowned out by fruit, funky, light vinegar, aged hops, oaky must, pale grain, lemon citrus that has a light zing, but really binds this beer together. The mouthfeel is great, coating, zippy, creamy at times, high carbonation but very gentle, tart bite at the finish.

Verdict: A great fruited lambic from Cantillon, something that is quite easy to say. The cherry aspect here is fantastic and really does evoke a pie or a cheesecake with the supporting flavors. While cherry is the star, the base lambic and oak aging really help to balance this beer and make it truly world class.

Wow! A lot of fruit in this one! Cherries all over the place. Great sweet and sour beer that is so well-balanced and silky smooth. Best one I had on my trip!

2007 bottle. This is flat out an extraordinary beer. Had in the same tasting with some fantastic Side Project sours. This was a good bit superior.

2014 bottle
Color and nose were amazing. Thought the flavor was too sweet and lacked the funk I was expecting. Will be looking for a bottle with some age on it.
