On tap at les Fleurs du Malt in Lyon, France.
It seems like I'm biting in a fresh slighty acidic unripe apricot. All along the main attributes might be its fruitness and the fact that it's damn well refreshing. Tart but not acidic the beer delivers a brett apricot and mango smell. The taste is never sour but still very fruity and slighty herbal. The lambic ain't too funky here.
The highlights of this very sought after beer are its simplicity and its balanced. A beer to love. I'm dying waiting to try the bottle I have in the basement. Hoping for a bigger complexity along the balance.
Few weeks later from the bottle. Same unripe apricot presence but as it warms up, more and more like an apricot pie. Perfect balance for a lambiec based beer.

Turbid yellow reddish orange with a ring of white head around it. Smell is sourish but you get notes of hay barnyard and horse blanket with lemon; not much fruit. Taste is very balanced with a little fruit sweetness in the middle. It gets sweeter as the beer warms. Not overly sour, just the right amount of balance in all its different aspects. Feel is light and moderately carbonated. Overall I understand what the hype is about. Super balanced sour beer but you don't really get much apricot, only generalize fruit sweetness. Still excellent however.

Bottle dated 6 September 2016 poured and split into four different snifters. Looks like a golden hazy IPA but with a 1/2 inch fluffy white head. The smell is metalicy, rubber and vinegary. I also pick up some oak and barnyard funk! The taste is tart, acidic, light fruit, slight pepper and herbal notes. The feel is very mild and crisp, very inviting. Overall I wanted much more fruit but it was still tasty treat!
