It’s the most diabolical of plans. Instead of a single yeast strain, Villainous employs four; two British and two West Coast, to make one Super-IPA strain. This imparts subtle flavors like apple, clover honey and pear. A blend of the most coveted hops adds floral and fruity flavors in perfect compliment. A nefarious pleasure to be sure.

Get ready folks, this is one of the best!
Look: Whoa! The lacy, foamy head is the strongest of any IPA I've come across. It completely overfills the spiegelau glass. A darker orange, slightly amber color. Represents a very well-made IPA.
Smell: Strong aromas of sweet citrus and dank tropical fruit. Mostly orange, grapefruit, tropical melon, pineapple, some apricot. Some black tea. Some sweet pastry malts underneath. The mosaic hops as I've come to expect are mostly grapefruit citrus, tropical melon, apricot, and black tea aromas which are definitely present here.
Taste: Sweet citrus and stonefruit with mostly citrus and grapefruit. It has that dank and earthy tropical melon and stonefruit as I've come to expect with mosaic hops. Black tea too. There is definitely apricot and apple. There is some honey malt sweetness too. Yet don't be fooled by the fruit, a hoppy, strong, bitter dry finish to round out the fruit. It actually finishes dry and balanced that I was not expecting. Folks, this is a flavor bomb!
Feel: Medium to heavy bodied. Heavily carbonated. Slightly resiny. Not oily. Finishes clean and dry. For the ABV, notably impressive.
Compared with the standard Bell's Two Hearted: This one has the mosaic and simcoe hops which provide the grapefruit . stonefruit, and black tea citrus and tropical flavors. It is slightly more bitter and light. Slightly sweeter. Similar on carbonation and mouthfeel for the most part.
Overall: The stands to be one of the best IPAs. The mosaic and simcoe hops which are my style provide such great citrus flavors, but with that underlying dank tropical fruit and stonefruit. Some black tea lingers underneath, which I am not particularly a fan of. The malts are well-balanced and the body is respectable.. Definitely one of my all-time best IPAs.
Edit: After three tries, still stands as one of the most strongly-flavored, well-founded, and all-time best IPAs.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, toasted biscuit, honey, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, wheat, toasted biscuit, honey, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, wheat, toasted biscuit, honey, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Slight resins/rinds lingering after the finish. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.3%. Overall this is a delicious IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, pretty soft feeling. Centennial, Simcoe, and Mosaic. Very juicy and fairy dank/earthy hop complexity with fruity yeast; nice bready malt backbone, and not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Kind of NEIPA-like with soft/creamy feel.

12oz can, no apparent freshness date. Amber colored ale is capped with a mountainous ivory head. Nice west coast IPA aroma with burnt caramel and grain coupled with piney and citric hops. For flavor, a hefty caramel malt backbone pairs well with juicy orange and grapefruit zest and pith along with pungent & earthy pine and mango. Medium body, very resinous, finishing dry with apricot, citrus zest, and spicy pine lingering. Big malt, big hops, big flavors = I like it.
