Served in a crystal snifter. Dark apricot colored with an inch high head of rocky foam that lingers long. Bright aroma of orange zest and grapefruit, with notes of mango and peach. Flavors match the nose fairly well, very hoppy with moderate bitterness, a little more grapefruit rind, morphing to subtle pine notes. Even mouthfeel, finishes a bit tingly. Nice, hoppy beer.

West Coast IPA through & through. Very dry in the finish. Don't be fooled. This is big bitter & dry ruby red grapefruit. There's nothing "juicy" about this one.
Just a solid WC IPA. Generous score IMHO. One & done purchase for me. Recommended to have said you knocked this off the list. Above average DIPA.

Bomber served cold into a Pilsner glass.
Aroma is tropical hoppy as promised but not very intense for a double IPA.
Flavor is sweet and fruity up front but with a good hop bitterness from middle to the end.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and balanced with good drinkability for the style.
Overall a good DIPA and a really fun series of beers.

Really hazy dark orange color with off-white head. Aroma is herbal/earthy, slightly dank and resinous. Taste starts bitter and slightly fruity with some orange flavor and gets intensely bitter and resinous on the finish. Aftertaste is long and bitter. Body is medium to heavy with good carbonation. Overall it's a quite nice DIPA with hell hidden alcohol and abrasive bitterness.

-Hop freshener series. Spiegelau ipa glass. No bottling date.
A: Dense oxidized orange coloring with a bready texture, antique white head of two fingers is firmly standing. Nice steady rush of carbonation. Stratified thick ring lacing, second pour produces a nice thick turbid orange haze of dense yeasty and bready goodiness. Lasting foam coverage til the end of the drink.
S: Fresh tropical, wet notes of pineapple, with freshly squeezed orange juice. Nice scent on the pour, good intensity, finishing with some dry pine.
T: Dry bready orange flowery hops and citrus, Very strong level of dry hopping, with some spicy dry tropical notes. Dry toasted malt, citric-flowery orange hop fade. Spicy citric hop-alcohol warmth.
M: Lightly malty and dry, and bittering.
O: A nicely hopped ipa with a good portion of toasted speciality malt backing. The nose was juicy and wet of a tropical nature, the flavor was spicy and dry hopped with a lingering bitterness. Good drinkability with an abv% of 8.5 feels right. Very good overall.
