Great looking smooth, well balanced, true West Coast, citrusy IPA. Quite a surprise given that I tasted it first in Nashville airport. Who’d a thought it?
I’ll certainly drink it the next time I fly through here.

On tap, Beautiful gold color, head dissipates fast, almost no lace. Not much smell, but very bright citrusy hoppy flavor at first. Light mouth feel, grapefruit on the back end but not as much bitterness as some IPA beers. Overall great, easy drinking smooth IPA.

I got a can of this from the brewery when I visited it sometime ago. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had faint grapefruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grapefruit presence and slight bitter finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Poured from 16oz can into glass. No canning date information found.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. Two finger fluffy, white head settles back to thin cap and ring. The initial head leaves behind some bubbly patterns of lacing.
Aroma of floral, citrus, and pine (in that order of prominence). Definitely has a malt backing.
Taste is quick and fleeting, with piney hops the most prevalent, but the floral and the citrus are present. Good malt backing. Has a mix of slightly sweet and moderately bitter, quite a tasty balance.
Medium mouth feel. Some tongue burn. Carbonation is very good.
Well balanced IPA, with some bitterness, but also some softness and sweetness. Each sip's taste profile is short and done, but the balance is so well done that the interval between sips is kept short. This beer would be an excellent choice for tailgating and pairing with game day food. Pleasantly surprised by the beer's core flavors and feel.

Pretty decent discovery while down in Nashville...wasn't expecting much, and first thing I've had from TailGate. Tastes like a west coaster (I assume the Southeast is more a reference to the region rather than an effort to create a new style) but with less of a citrus taste. Citrus does come through in the smell, along with pine, but the citrus is more in the background in the taste, with some nice pine and a little background malt. Pretty good balance, looks nice (straw/orange, with a decent head), and was really good going down with some Baja fish tacos. Definitely wouldn't mind going for it again when I'm in town.
