I got a can of this from a visit to the brewery sometime ago. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is leaving some lace. The scent had wonderful peanut butter notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with peanut butter front followed by a dark chocolate roast finish. The mouthfeel is fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Poured into a pint glass from a 16oz can. Opaque brown and viscous on the pour, with a small tan head that slowly settled, leaving wispy foam. Big peanut butter aroma, with a bit of chocolate and roasty malt. The taste was less one-dimensional, with a good balance between the peanuts and the chocolatey malt. A bit of bitter hops that keeps it from being too sweet, with some roasty flavors but this is primarily PB plus chocolate. Full-bodied and the alcohol is surprisingly hidden given the ABV.

Served on tap at Tailgate's main brewery. 8oz pour into a Belgian glass. Opaque black body and a creamy, light brown head with nice retention. Great lacing. Looks and smells quite similar to their standard PBMS- peanut butter is prominent on the nose, but not overpowering; toffee, caramel and chocolate accents are there as well. Taste is sweet, as expected of a milk stout, but balanced. Rich malt and cocoa flavors come before the peanut butter, and a nice balance of sweetness with faint bitterness on the finish. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Overall, great beer and happy for Tennessee's loosened ABV restrictions to kick off the new year!

Big Milk stout fan, not overly sweet and very well balanced. Peanut Butter flavor is spot on and you can't really taste the high alcohol content as its hidden by a bundle of wonderful flavors. Highly Recommended

Thanks to Buck89. One of many gems he sent me in NBS BIF #7
Beautiful, fluffy tan head rises from a deep roiled brown. Elevates nearly 3 fingers high. Good lacing displayed upon settling.
Nose is straight up peanut butter. I breathe it in. Some chocolate notes, and a gentle toasted note comes through as well. There's a creaminess to the peanut butter.
Taste is much of the same. Can't quite live up to the smell, but I don't know how it could without no longer being an actual beer. There's a taming of the sweetness by the hops that almost dries out the edge of the sweet.
Mouthfeel is creamy but a tad lighter than I'd think. Still a very nice feel. No hint of the ABV.
Overall, I think this may be the best peanut butter milk stout I've had.

Dark, inky black color with very little lacing.

Aroma of dark roasted malt with peanut butter in the background.

Taste is roast malt first followed by a definite peanut butter hit. No hops that I can discern and there is a residual touch of bitterness in the aftertaste.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Other than roasted malt and peanut butter I didn't get much else. It could've had something in the way of lactose in there but if so it escaped my grasp. Our resident Guinness fan loved it.
