Pours out a dark, raisin-like color with a thinnish khaki head. Aroma is dark dried fruits, brown sugar, bread, and a tinge of alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and just about mirrors the aromas, aside from an absence of alcohol in the taste. Brown sugar and raisins are big in the forefront with some roasty malts in the background. Mouthfeel isn't too heavy, but has a stickiness to it. Carbonation is mild and gentle. Really good drinker and one of the better doppelbocks I've had.
