A - very hazy, unfiltered (good amount of sediment from bottle), pale golden-orange. very white head, broke down very quickly to a even lace covering until it dies away except the rim.

S - Slight banana, yeast smell, touch of citrus thrown in for good measure. Might be getting a touch of sweetness off of it.

T - Light banana and some caramel and yeast notes. Little citrus notes.

M - medium to full-bodied feel with light flavors. nice acidic coating over the tongue that lasts only a few seconds, very light and refreshing. Bubbly at first and then it seems to mellow out over the course of a several minutes.

O - An enjoyable Weiss brau. very much enjoy the slight banana flavor and think this would be wonderful in a bar in Germany with a touch of banana juice added to enhance the flavors.

This is a decent beer, but I don't understand all the 4+ scores - there are far better hefes out there.

Bright gold beer under a soft, monster big pillowy head. Just a slight bit of haze to the beer, much clearer than many hefes. A minimum of spotty lace as you go.

Nice hefe nose, but again, not as spicy or interesting as a lot of comparable brews. Taste is very subdued. Some of the banana/clove/bread thing going, but again . . .

Also an unusual caramel-like flavour present. Mouthfeel surprisingly watery.

Way under performs against others of the style. I love hefes, but I wouldn't put this on my list as a go to brew. Disappointing.

Pours a hazy deep gold with a large white head. Visible yeast sediment in the glass once I stir it up at the end (which I like).

Nice aroma of citus, spices and wheaty-malt.

Flavors: Good wheat bread but with a sour dough tang. Nice bannanaish hefeweizen flavors. Some orange, some cloves, some nutmeg. Very crisp. Not too sweet. Not too dry.

An excellent example of the style. That said, this beer is almost too balanced. I kinda prefer the in-your-face flavors of say a Live Oak Hefeweizen from Austin.
