Really dark brown color with light brown head. Aroma has dark, roasted malt and a bit of milk chocolate. Taste is really roasty with hints of coffee and chocolate. Body is light and well carbonated. Quite nice overall, easy to drink and more roasty than a regular bock.

A: This beer pours with a dark brown with a red tone. The head is large off-white and stays for a rather long time.

S: The smell is mostly light roasted sweet malt, but there is also a fruityness (dark dried fruit) and som faint bitter hops in a nice mix.

T: The taste is like the smell, but with different proportions: The malt is still sweet but the roast is heavier than in the smell. The fruitness is a bit milder. The bitter hops is more obvious. Then there is a nice coffee and dark bitter chocolate tone.

M: The aftertaste is long with a dry bitterness together with a rather heavy sweetness. The body is full and the carbonation is light.

D: A well tasting beer with a nice mix between roasted sweet malt and well balanced dry bitterness. A nice fruityness as well.

The liquid is clear; it got a deep brown colour. The very high head is pale brown, creamy and compact. The large lacing is thick.

The smell got some clean notes of alcohol. Lots of malt, sweet flavours of pumpernickel, fresh flowery bitter notes, some caramelized sugar and a touch of chocolate.

The taste is intensive, but at the same time rounded and balanced and not over-heavy at all. Lots of malt, some of it roasted. Lots of mellow sweetness (brown sugar, toffee); this is a full-bodied beer! There is a clean robust bitterness in the background. Some raisins and dried apricots plus a very gentle alcoholic flavour. The aftertaste got an interesting hint of grilled meats, chocolate and dark rye bread. The long bitterness grows a little with notes of bitter almonds and bitter exotic fruits.

The carbonation is mild, yet there are lots of very small fresh bubbles. The liquid is smooth and a little sticky.

One of the best bock beers I have tasted so far.

From Labirratorium. In Bavaria glass. Playing Blackwell Epiphany. More roasted and dark than usual in the style, with coffee and smoke notes as well as some caramel. Very addictive

Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a good looking dark brown/black colour, with a nice off-white head.

Smells strongly boozy and malty.

Taste reflects the smell, with a bit more yeast and some hop bitterness. A nice full mouthfeel accompanies.

Overall this works out as being a great beer, warming and wholesome without being too much.

The beer is bark brown with hints of red, much beige foam leaving a compact head.

The smell has a hints of malt and burnt bread, a bit of sweetness.

The taste is pleasant, tones of dates, raisins, some smoky malty tones, dark chocolate and coffee, but still fresh and bitter.

A rather light but pleasant carbonation.

BBE 11-06. This one pours in without to much head cause of low carbonisation but whats there stays nicely. Beercollor is dak brown almost black. Nose has lots of dark/munich carracter and shows also a good part of roast. Very sweet and remembering of a munich dunkel. Taste shows that this one has more and is heavy and full. Mediumhigh bitterness and a liquorice roast note very present. Yes this is highly enjoyable and every sip is a new taste explosion, honey, caramel, bitterroast and maltsweetness with hinst of vanilla all pass by. Great brew well worth a try.

Side by side tasting shows that this is most certainly the same beer as the more famous Celebrator.

And therefore worthy of the same score.

Aquesta cervesa m´ha agradat. Bona cervesa tipicament alamanya , una autèntica cervesa bavaresa d´hivern.Equilibrada , potser amb massa gas. El punt just d alcohol. Molt bé, repetiré
