A gorgeous, hazy brownish gold color with a very tight white head. Aromas of banana, clove, and bread. Taste is similar though the clove comes forward and the banana falls off. Medium-bodied, though what I love is that there's this sort of numbing clove-like feel to the body. I drank this regularly when I first got into craft beer twenty years ago and I've only recently come back to it. Just amazing.

Poured from 0.5-L bottle into a pokal. This was a bit of a gusher, with a very non-aggressive pour yielding five fingers and three toes of dense, white foam. Hazy, pale golden yellow in color. Aroma is slightly phenolic / estery, with notes of light malt, banana, coriander, and lemon. All of these are prominent on the palate as well, with quite a bit of alcohol warmth as the beer nears cellar temperature. The finish is slightly sweet, with a little sticky green-apple tartness on the tongue. The mouthfeel and body were lighter than I expected, and I didn't get much of the dark fruit character I was looking for based on the style description. That said, though, this is one excellent beer, good either with food or as a tasty stand-alone sipper.

Nice fruity smelling orange beer with an of white head. Smells like apricot, peach, banana and cloves. Nice and sweet with the same flavors as in the nose. The peach and apricot are refreshing and the banana and clove give it that Belgian character I love. Great beer.

Small active head that dissipated quickly. Little or no lacing. Pale Gold body with significant wheat haze

Soft fruit aroma peaches, apricot, prunes.

Flavour as above with a little banana, cloves after. Little or no detectable hop.

Creamy full mouth with significant carbonation.

Overall nicely balanced.

Very tall, toothpaste spit like head, with a golden blonde body 100% opaque.

Aroma of smoked malts, canned peaches, apricot, pears, and pineapple; some cocktail cherries thrown in there for good measure. Wheat malt, no hop aroma.

Flavor is as if ice cubes melted in the aroma and transferred the the flavor. It's a touch washed out but nothing I can't handle. Most prominent flavors are the wheat malt, the smoke, and day old canned peaches. Much of the other flavors are in the background...stringy pineapple and pears.

Feel is creamy as usual, with a near perfect carbonation laying underneath.

Overall, it's not half as good as Vitus, but it's a great alternative if there's no other Weizenbocks around.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a quarter inch frothy head. Smell is very estery. Taste is more malty than estery and has a slight bitterness in the back of the tongue. I've never been a big fan of wheaty beers, but this one is really good.

Very smooth and balanced. Banana, spicy, rich and complex. No bitter aftertaste. The creamy mouthfeel is partially due to above average carbonation. Definitely worth a taste and a go to brew.

just an exceptional brew.
Hides the abv quite well.
pours a dirty yellow. taste has that typical belgian weisse stuff going on, but with an exponent next to each characteristic. Booms with clove flavors, and orange/lemon notes. Tons of gnarly yeast cake at the bottom. Unfiltered, unabashed greatness. This is a real beer right here. Mouthfeel is chewy, and the aftertaste lingers for what seems like forever. THere's the typical, almost Paulaner-Hefe powdered sugar thang with a lime twist going-on too. SUch a flavorful and wonderful offering. Top 5 beer for me personally.
