On tap: Reddish orange with a good sized head that hangs around throughout and has great lacing. Smells of pine and malt. Taste follows the smell. Everything really comes together here and this is a really good pale ale.

This is a good American pale ale. Not as flavorful as the best ones out there.....no major hops presence here. But it is an enjoyable beer.

12 oz. bottle into a pint glass

A - Moderate pour produces a 1 finger head in height that is off white with a slight orange tint in color. The head is a thick froth and dissipates very slowly. The beer itself is slightly hazy and bright amber in color with moderate carbonation based on a medium amount of bubbles rising quickly toward the surface. 4/5

S - Very sweet aroma with grapefruit, mango, papaya, and a bit of pineapple. Really a very citrusy aroma with a bit caramel backing up the citrus and light malt reminiscent of white bread acting as an undertone base. 4/5

T - Lightly sweet at the start with just a hint of caramel and buttered white bread. A bit of a light cracker note too. The hops really start to come in right in the middle with grapefruit playing the starring role and being backed up by mango, papaya, and pineapple. Light hint of green apple along with the grapefruit. Bitterness is really not all the harsh but it does linger lightly on the palate after swallowing. 4/5

M - Light carbonation burn on the outset which transitions to a bit of a creaminess which is unexpected. Medium bodied. Very little drying but drying does linger somewhat. 3.75/5

O - Well balanced beer between sweet and bitter with the hops playing the starring role, providing both sweet citrus and bitter notes. Creamy mouthfeel that comes through at times is a bit odd but not unpleasant. 4/5
